Munirah Bahari - Leading Sex Guru of Malaysia

Munirah Bahari is the vice-president of the National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia aka Sex Guru of School Girls in Malaysia.

Now if Munirah is this wise, I am already trembling with anticipation what the President of her association may have to say next.

Back to what Munirah said. Munirah feels that the transparent cotten white blouse (worn under a blue pinafore) by schoolgirls can send out the wrong message "encouraging" rapes & premarital sex.

According to her substantiated research (I am sure she must have researched this before giving a press conference), it would seem that men are attracted to the white blouse .

However, boys will be boys and it is not their fault they get distracted (or is it attracted?) to the transparent white blouse.

It would seem (from Munirah's extensive research), that girls are the ones using this white blouse to lure men.

And ofcourse we all know what that little white blouse leads to, don't we?

YES! You got it!!

Rape, sexual abuse, premarital sex, kids borne out of wedlock and even PROSTITUTION. But let's not blame the men.

THANK YOU MUNIRAH! You have been unfairly slammed by bloggers but to me, you are a HERO and a True GENIUS!

Get rid of them thin white blouses.

Let 'em wear BLACK blouses under a BLACK burka with a headscarf (& we know what the sight of uncovered HAIR can do to the men, don't we?)

Ok. Sorry all but Aunty here just gotta cut this one short. I am rushing out even as we speak. I must buy up all the white blouses I can find.

Yeah. Times are hard and Aunty here needs all the help she can get. Don't cha worry Muni baby, I got it covered. I am wa...yyyy past premarital sex, sexual abuses (or advances), rapes and bearing kids outta wedlock.

"..Something must be seriously wrong with local men if the sight of girls in their school uniform turns them on, says Sisters in Islam.." ( the star; 23rd may 2008-edited)

What is so serious about the girl's school uniform? Is 'white' a symbol of S.E.X.Y?

It is not the colors that matter, but it is how you portray yourself for not being too sexy and attracted by others, especially MEN. Having a second-time analysis at the statement made by the National Islamic Students Association of Malaysia (PKPIM) vice-president Munirah Bahari, there are some concrete reasons for WHY the government should review of the uniform policy. But, the thing is, will there be any possibilities for the reducing of rape cases to occur, if the changes of the WHITE uniform is permitted? For sure, it will remain vague, unless; there are actions to be taken!

“It is entirely irresponsible for anyone to suggest the idea that rape is a result of attire. Rape is not about attire, it’s about power that perpetrators feel they have over their victims,” (Women’s Aid Organisation executive director Ivy Josiah said in the star; 23rd May 2008-edited)

The idea of uncritical thinking is clearly stated in this statement for which ( I hope) it wont gives us, WOMEN any courageous to slightly think that the power of wearing any kinds of attire is in our hands! YES, RAPE is also about ATTIRE, and yet the power that perpetrators feel they have over their victims is also inspirited by the ATTIRE of the victim! Statistic shows that most rape cases are caused by the act of the victim itself for which it cannot be denied that psychological factors may also be contributed regarding this social ill. But let us try to have a look at the way our beloved young teenagers wear their clothes. Regardless the uniform issue. Are they following the real ethics of 'human' dress code? Try to put a step on Jalan Bukit Bintang, (24 hours; non stop!) and there you could see how Malaysian portray themselves in terrific ways!

I was a government school former and used to wear WHITE kurung for almost 12 years. The moment when the Head of Discipline were walking around with cane in hands is still clear in mind especially during the 'spot check hour'! The first thing that she stressed on was, "LADIES! are you wearing camisole?" It sounds simple, but it makes sense! WHITE kurung should be wearing together with camisole! And, on the other way around, it is back to a short-simple-significant word; DISCIPLINE! Yes, one should have discipline for each and every single thing in life and yet, in the scope of school environment, the Discipline Department should strictly plays their important role by empower their 'touch' towards students for a better-prevention.

verse from the Holy Qur’an states clearly the Islamic dress code for women; Allah said in the Glorious Qur’an, which means:

“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.), and to draw their veils all over Juy├╗bihinna (i.e. their bodies, faces, necks and bosoms) and not to reveal their adornment except to their husbands, or their fathers, or their husband’s fathers, or their sons, or their husband’s sons, or their brothers, or their brother’s sons, or their sister’s sons, or their (Muslim) women (i.e. their sisters in Islam), or the (female) slaves whom their right hand possess, or old male servants who lack vigour, or small children who have no sense of feminine sex. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And all of you beg Allah to forgive you all, O believers, that you may be successful.” (Surah An-Nur, verse 31)

So, to change or not to change the school uniform's color, it is up to the Ministry of Education to decide. A special honor to Munirah Bahari for her care regarding this issue which for at least she and her team members did something! Don't just sit and condemn others without further actions or else you'll become the real 'useless'. This 'something' may also become 'big thing' which is much more better than 'nothing', perhaps! Also, a special memo to all ladies out there; do watch your dress code; and do remember that there are many eyes watching over you and staring trough your clothes! Behave your 'human' ethics for at least if you feel no one is around, still, the One and Only is watching and He always do!

Matter of fact Munirah is just doing her job as a muslim, reminding the muslim society about the forgotten rule of islam i.e woman dress code.

Under the islamic dress code women are not allow to put on white when they are in public. Only dark colors are permissible.

Islam is a complete religion as you can see even colors that women use for clothing are given a strict guideline. Why?? Answer is simple to safeguard the dignity of woman.

Sadly muslim women in this century have forgotten this fact and the worst of all failed to understand what islam is. Ultimately confused and end up dressing like non-muslim.

Looking at this scenario I'm not surprised that the inhabitant of Hell, as described by Prophet Mohd SAW as he witnessed during his great trip of "israq mikraj", mostly comprised of women.

Hi Malaysian!
What stats and where did you get these stats n Msia identifying WOMEN as the provocateur??

I get stares leveled at my bosom when I ride the lift. And the "staring" is so obvious in a lift.

The only situations I ride a lift, is in an office building

Was I provocatve? I ALWAYS used to wear a biz suit covering me from here to there - buttoned up since there ain't nothing to show ie I am double A cup!

So how do you account for all the "admiration" I got for my bosom? Was it my imagination?

No. My girlfriend from Canada who lived in Msia for 12 yrs IN a bix suit, with a triple A cup also used to complain. And this was way back in the '80s!!

And who did the leering? They were my fellow Msian Muslims!

Hell is full of Women?

Is that what the Koran tells you? Or is it some version of what you were told?

So women sin more than Men do?

Good to know our mothers, wives, daughters, sisters etc are more destined for hell than heaven.

And to all the misogynists & women with such low self confidence who dislike and are suspicious of their own gender

Pray we need NEVER suffer the pain of anything happening to our own family where despite all the discipline, all the love, & all the protection, when something bad happens.

I wonder if Ms Munirah Bahari knows that 75% of rapist are people known or related to the victims; who btw meet the victims at home when they are probably not wearing that white school uniform? Can someone shake this woman's shoulder and tell her that if a guy is intent on raping someone, it doesn't matter what the victim is or isn't wearing!

emm....i just fucking dont care....
dia tak kate kes rogol bpunca dari baju jarang sekolah...please quote this....TETAPI SALAH SATU RANGSANGAN...which means "source of seduction"...yang membawa makna bahawa punca2 rangsangan seksual ini ada banyak...kalo nak diikotkan, byk lg sumber2 rangsangan kepada kes rogol....pornografi,rakan2,pengaruh environment such as media yang byk membawa unsur2 exploitasi terhadap TUBUH wanita....
boys will be boys...betul....TETAPI what leads the boys to do such unhuman action is the rangsangan yang they received from the environment....contoh...if u addicted to porn...u encourage urself to get inside women pants right? or maybe just happens alot...u r letting ur sensual eghem to get rid of the rangsangan that u have before.....n bg perogol yg melakukan jenayah nie, mereka melihat kepada sasaran... dan yg biasa adalah perempuan....n perempuan confirm lemah n tak dapat nk overcome lelaki yg sgt2 jhat ini...kite tak mempersoalkan kejadian rogol ni berpunca dr bju sekolah yg jarang....tetapi byk lg rangsangan lain...yg lebih utama...n salah satu cara utk atasi dengan mengajar pelajar2 ttg adat org asia yg sopan...berpakaian sopan yg tidak jarang n menampakkan tuboh....

the reason why people engage in premarital sex and such is because they're curious. i mean, we;ve all googled naughty photos once in awhile (and to those who say MANA ADA shut the hell up, i know that you have because even budak alim that i know got caught wanking off to lesbian porn)

sex ed is the way to go! in this world of ever free media, knowledge is the key to protection.

Yesss..i agree with Munirah about certain thing...

Ingat waktu sekolah dulu, once hujan jee...wooowww ramai budak perempuan dah jadi sexy bila baju dah basah. Tu salah satu rangsangan jugak.

But nasib baik coz iman kuat, tak buat dan terfikir benda tak senonoh. Sometimes budak budak perempuan ni pun satu hal jugak...dah tahu baju dah basah dan sexy...buat tak tahu jee bila dipandang...

Mungkin dah sampai masa kena kaji balik code pakaian tu...

Kadang kadang kesian bila tengok budak budak perempuan kena kacau dan buli kat sekolah..Come on....respect lah mereka sikit...tak ada perempuan dalam dunia ni, maka kita tak lahir lah kedunia....Please respect and protect them....
